Bronze plaque from first flagpole erected at Rock End Dock site of Northeast Harbor Fleet. The plaque is mounted on a half-round piece of wood, and affixed to the wall. Plaque reads: This memorial masters given to the Northeast Harbor Fleet by Devoted Friends & Sailing Comrades of Vance C. McCormick to Perpetuate in our Community His Sportsmanship and Generous Spirit August Thirtieth 1947
