The Far Out Trophy consists of a very tall and heavily ornamented silver vase (2022.03.050.A), with two handles, on a composite wood base (2022.03.050.B). Chased ornament on the vase includes vegetal elements, flowers, leaves, and flowering ivies. A large engraved plaque on the front of the base gives the name of the award, and smaller plaques around the base give the names of the winners. The Loving Cup was awarded to the first-place winners of the Lover's Race. The cup itself is a repurposed ceramic chamber pot. The chamber pot has a white body, green vegetal motifs, and a handle. Written in red and blue paint, and black marker, on top of the glaze, are the names of the winners of the race. A Fleet burgee is painted on the inside of the cup, at the bottom.
